WORLD GRAND PRIX CHAMPIONSHIP - RUSSIA


WORLD GRAND PRIX CHAMPIONSHIP - RUSSIA Kyokushin Kenbukaikan Zambia has been invited by International Federation for Arabic boxing (FIBA) to attend a world grand Prix Championship to be held from 21st April to 1st May 2021 in Olympic village Park, Moscow, Russia. The Branch Chief Shihan Farai Mangaba 5th Dan black belt received the invitation from the Headquarters office in Namibia. This is after Shihan Simba Mangaba our organization head was appointed as African Federation of Arabic Boxing (FABA) vice president weeks ago. The organisers together with the Russian government under Vladimir Putin will pay for all air tickets, accommodation and full board meals. The invitation has been extended to 2 government officials and 3 media houses. Seven (7) athletes under Sensei Shergan Chinhoi 4th Dan black belt as Coach have been selected and expected to begin camping soon though they have already started training. The team has been hand picked from the list of champions from Last championship and the Japanese Ambassador trophy. Selected athletes are; Gregson Maluma, Salome Mangaba, Royson Chikondo, Brighton Kabamba, Nathan Chilenga, Gilbert Ndlovu and Hellen Moonga. The team is expected to depart on 19th April together with the Sports Minister.
